Chris Barber

My courses: A2 Business Studies and Accounts and AS economics.
My other interests include: Playing cricket with Rode Park & Lawton CC, enjoying a friendly game of football and watching stand up comedy.

After finishing college this summer I intend to move up to study finance and management science at Keele University. After leaving education I intend to pursue careers in financial management and politics.

 

Why are you a Conservative? Having spent a lot of my childhood under a dysfunctional government, I found that the conservatives had similar views to my own. I feel strongly that Labour is making a mess of our country and want to see their damage reversed. The only party with the ideas and capability of this is the conservatives therefore I felt I had to join.
 

Who is your favourite Conservative of all time? Got to be Margaret Thatcher, I think she was in inspiration and did a great good for this country. She made difficult decisions that helped us progress. Also I very much like her politics and I am a keen advocate of privatisation and not surrendering to European control.
